Itchy 7

7. I also not sure why 7 is part of my life. 7 played an important significant influence.

1. 7 years after my first BGR ended, I knew my hubby.
2. 7 years together, we ROM.
3. 7 years in my current job, I found a new one.

So how many 7-years events then? Will let you know 7 years then..

Housework

Married couples normally do their housework on weekends, simply because they do not have the time to do during weekdays. Just like us. We have to dedicate a whole afternoon, just to wash clothes, vaccum, mop floor and wash toilets.

Our dining table is no longer for meals, but to gather all the misc stuff, eg letters, things we just bought, etc.

My advise is for all newly wife, start training your husband before it got worse. Mine is an angel.. *wink*

God-brother's ROM

Today, it is my god-brother's ROM at the Singapore flyer. Wow.. i had a chance to be in the capsule for 2 rounds. Nice weather. Took a lot of photos. It is not easy to get to the Singapore flyer from the train station. You need about at least 15 mins walk from City Hall train station. The piece is huge and cooling at night, i guess.

The exciting part is that there is Popeye Chicken and Biscuit at the Singapore Flyer. I told my husband that we do not have to visit Changi Airport Terminal 1 to enjoy the fried chicken anymore. *saliva drooling....*

I also knew a new friend at the ceremony - Kee Leng. She is a very sporty and adventurous lady. How I wish I have a few percent of her sporty attitude. Then I can lose some weight you know. *grin*

Hidden object games

Last year, if i am not wrong. We met our tourmates at Clarke Quay. We were chit chatting and one of them spoke about an online game that was so fun. My hubby and I tried and we have no regrets.

The website is called Big Fish Games (www.bigfishgames.com). There are a whole lot of different kinds. But the best is still "hidden objects". You have to search for items listed in a messy area. Of course, there are hints. If you are keen, you can download a one-hour trial version or otherwise purchase the full version and play along.

Don't say i dont warn you, you will get addicted. Try the "Mystery Case Files". There will be 6. But now, there are already four.

Disfigured.. Urgh!

I had very bad eyelid and eyebag allergy infection on monday. When I wake up in the morning for work, I blinked my eyes and could not locate my double eyelids. Something told me that something serious happened.

I reached out my eyelids and OMG! They swelled like I got an insect bug.

I began to recall that it must be the free fancl collagen eye mask I had on sunday. The collagen eye mask was too strong for my eye lids. S*&%!!! I began the search and realised one of the substance is Lychee Seed Extract. Am I allegic to that, I wonder?

It was real funny at the GP. She smiled real hard when she saw my eyes. I could only opened half of my eyes and could not stand the strong sunlight. I got an MC for the day. Finally I got my double eyelids back at the same night. But came the itchiness around my neck and back of my ears. They still itch thou.

Eh, wait a min. Din't I just have ear infection just last week? *URGH*

Note: Now I know why people will go for plastic surgery to get a double eyelid. It is really a Big difference lor...

Best of both worlds?

I don't believe in best of both worlds.. here's why:

1. Beautiful and Smart - never came across


2. Rich and Generous - mostly stingy bunch, guess that's how they became rich. they spend on themselves


3. High flyer and family person - which would you prefer?


4. High pay and happy career - got to do what you are paid for


5. .. the lists go on..

I believe in contentment, happiness and not too hard on oneself. You are what you are.

Partial deaf

Now I know the feeling of being deaf. I got an infection and lots of wax on my left ear. Got blocked too in the mornings when I wake up. People got to speak on my right ear before I can respond. Doc said I need about 8 days to recover, otherwise there will be a minor operation to remove the dead skin and wax.

I am feeling lost and yesterday, I saw a toddler with 2 ear hearing aids. Life is not normal if you cannot hear well. Imagine all the words they tried to communicate to them. I am exactly feeling that way now.

Greek Masterpieces from the Louvre

We went to the National Museum of Singapore to see the Greek Masterpieces from the Louvre. There are 130 sculptures, figurines, reliefs, vases, jewellery and implements to see an overview of the Greek civilisation at its political and artistic height in the Classical period (5th to 4th centuries BCE).






It is worth visiting the museum if you do not have the budget to visit the actual Louvre Museum in Paris, France. The exhibits will end on 16 March 2008 so that is still a chance now. I am not artistic myself. I have been to the Louvre 3 years ago and the place is huge. I could not finished walking around within 2 hours there.
