*haiz* was the famous trademark of Sean, who I never get to know well and work with in MDIS. My impression on him was a jovious and bubbly person. I never see him with an angry face, probably I never make him angry. ha ha.
Yesterday it was his last day in MDIS, with 8 years working there. There was a farewell lunch and a video clipping with all the memories he had with. He made some speeches and holding back all his tears. It was my first farewell I attended and got to know that was an emotional event that I hope I will not attend in the near future.
I understood Sean's feeling of leaving a company of 8years. I just had mine last month and it wasn't an easy decision to make. We were in a comfort zone, with so many battle allies, and nothing seems to block in our daily office life. We became natural advisors to newbies and set examples for them to follow. But we just got to move on to something different and experience the thrill of adapting to a different culture.
Will you be able to think you can be in the same company for another 8 years? I can't. I believe Sean will share the same sentiment as me.
